With over 25 years of teaching experience and decades as a performing musician, Noel Wentworth helps beginner, intermediate, and advanced bass players develop strong technique, timing, and musical understanding. Students also learn the skills needed to play confidently with others.
Whether you’re picking up a bass for the first time, joining a band, preparing for performances, or working toward Rockschool exams, Noel creates lessons around your goals and musical interests.
Private bass lessons start at $34 per half hour and are available at our Kelowna studio for students ages 9 and up.

Meet Your Bass Teacher
Noel Wentworth has been teaching guitar, bass, and ukulele for over 25 years. As a lifelong musician and graduate of Selkirk College’s Music Performance program, Noel brings extensive performing and teaching experience to every lesson. He also holds a Licentiate in Music Education (with Distinction) through RSL Awards, an internationally recognized qualification for music educators.
Over the years, Noel has helped students play their first bass lines, improve their technique, and prepare for music exams. He creates lessons that are supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals. His focus is to help every student build confidence, develop their musical skills, and enjoy the process of making music.
